Hello Everyone!!
Welcome to The Car Girl's Garage. I'm Alexandra Straub and thanks for visiting my page. If you don't already know who I am, I'll fill you in on all the juicy details. I've been an automotive journalist for over 7 years now. I've driven hundreds of vehicles ranging from subcompacts to SUV's to Luxury vehicles and everything in between. I travel to some of the coolest places to drive the coolest cars. I am possibly one of the luckiest people in the world because this gig is fantastic. Now if only I were rich and famous!!
I currently host a local cable show called "Shifting Gears." I'll give you one guess as to what it's about... We're in between seasons right now but it airs on Shaw channel 4 and Shaw Multicultural 119 in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver and it's also been picked up by Shaw in Calgary. I'll update you on when Season 3 starts.
The purpose of my page is to give you a look at what's shakin' and what's new on the automotive market. Some vehicles might not be as exciting as others but my posts can be on anything from the Hyundai Accent to the Audi R8. I'll try to keep it fun and exciting.
